EVALUATION METHODOLOGY
Merlin is available for assistance to any or all of the various parties concerned with the project and can provide this assistance in several ways depending on the particular client’s needs.

The most common first step is to develop a preliminary Basis of Design (BOD) for the specific project being evaluated. The BOD_prelim is used to prepare an initial cost estimate and then to perform a series of agreed sensitivity tests to better optimize the BOD. The core element of the Merlin LNG Project Feasibility Study is our proprietary LNG Capital/Operating; LNG Shipping; and, LNG Import Terminal – Power Generation Cost Estimating Models. Merlin utilizes a commercially available cost estimating model for the feed gas and pipeline segments of the LNG chain.
